Shuttering ply is a type of strong plywood that can be remodeled into several shapes as per the user's convenience. It is formed by gluing together thin wooden strips. It is made from hardwood, or high-density wood veneer, glued with waterproof adhesives that can handle heavy loads, moisture, and rough handling on site. The surface is often treated with a film (phenolic) to smooth its surface and make it reusable. Shuttering ply is vital for the shaping of concrete structures. This includes things like columns, beams, slabs, and walls. Due to its tensile strength, dimensional stability, and instrumental in producing clean finishes with few surface imperfections.
